Bonjour, I’m Leslie — the creative heart behind Le French Hen! 🖤

What began as a love for all things French, painted, and secondhand has grown into a true celebration of creativity and upcycling. Over six years later, Le French Hen continues to blend artistry, sustainability, and a little bit of French flair into one-of-a-kind pieces for your home.

Located inside Colliope Co, a creative collaboration of local Tucson makers and artists, Le French Hen is where imagination meets reinvention. I’m passionate about giving new life to forgotten furniture and home décor — transforming the ordinary into something truly special through paint, texture, and storytelling.

My creative journey started with a search for affordable, sustainable décor that reflected the timeless charm of French style. When I couldn’t find it, I began making it — and fell head over heels for Dixie Belle Paints and Redesign With Prima products. What started as a personal project quickly became a passion for teaching, inspiring, and helping others create their own unique homes filled with beauty and meaning.

Every piece I create is a small love letter to the art of upcycling — a reminder that sustainability and style can (and should!) go hand in hand.
